Big-Four professional services firm KPMG to support Bayes Research Centre’s Mergers & Acquisitions Research
KPMG, one of the Big-Four professional services firms, has announced a partnership with the Mergers & Acquisitions Research Centre (MARC) at Bayes Business School. This collaboration will see KPMG providing support to the research centre’s ongoing portfolio of research on global M&A and private equity deal patterns, with a focus on the impact of environmental, social, and governance issues on deals.
As part of the agreement, KPMG will also offer guest speakers and project opportunities to Bayes undergraduate and postgraduate students. Additionally, KPMG experts will participate in the School’s flagship finance events, including the annual Bayes M&A Conference – the largest of its kind in the world.
The partnership will also see Liz Claydon, Global Head of Deal Advisory at KPMG, joining the MARC Advisory Board. She will be working alongside other top-level players in the M&A industry, the Dean of Bayes, senior faculty from leading business schools, and senior representatives from sponsor organizations.
In a statement, Ms. Claydon expressed her excitement about the collaboration, highlighting the excellent work done by MARC in providing quality M&A research and insights. Professor Scott Moeller, the founder and Director of MARC, also expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, welcoming KPMG as a Senior Sponsor of the research centre.
The collaboration between KPMG and MARC is expected to bring together industry expertise and academic research, providing valuable insights into the ever-evolving landscape of M&A and private equity. With KPMG’s support, MARC aims to continue its mission of conducting impactful research that meets the needs of both industry and academia.
