CEI Acquires Fourth Dimension Technologies, Expanding Technology Solutions Portfolio

CEI, a leading technology solutions provider based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has recently announced its acquisition of Fourth Dimension Technologies, an IT solutions and managed service provider (MSP) headquartered in Chennai, India. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

This strategic move marks the 103rd technology merger and acquisition (M&A) deal covered by ChannelE2E and MSSP Alert in 2024. The acquisition, finalized in late March 2024, is set to enhance CEI’s service portfolio, particularly in the areas of managed IT services and cloud solutions.

CEI, established in 1992, boasts a team of 1,514 employees with expertise in various technology domains such as Microsoft development, digital strategy, application maintenance and support, mobile development, and more. On the other hand, Fourth Dimension, founded in 1989, has 415 employees specializing in remote infrastructure management, managed security services, and consulting services.

The collaboration between CEI and Fourth Dimension is expected to bring about expanded capabilities and expertise to better serve clients across industries like banking, manufacturing, and healthcare. This acquisition not only strengthens CEI’s partnerships with major industry leaders like Microsoft, Cisco, and VMWare but also paves the way for delivering innovative technology solutions to a wider audience.
