“Church Pension Group to Host Conversation on Episcopal Perspectives on Socially Responsible Investing”

The Church Pension Group (CPG) is set to host a virtual conversation on socially responsible investing (SRI) with leaders from various Episcopal institutions. The event, part of CPG’s Insights & Ideas series, will take place on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM ET.

During the conversation, attendees will learn about the approaches these institutions take to invest portfolios to achieve long-term financial objectives while also supporting the values of the Church. The panel will be led by Michael Hood, Chief Investment Officer at CPG, and will include leaders from Trinity Church Wall Street, The Episcopal Diocese of Southwestern Virginia, and Weizmann Global Endowment Management Trust.

This event follows a series of discussions on topics such as climate change, investing in economically disadvantaged communities, faithful investing, positive impact investing, and sustainable investing. Individuals interested in attending can register at cpg.org/Insights&Ideas.

Mary Kate Wold, CEO and President of CPG, expressed excitement about the event, stating, “We are pleased to bring together this dynamic group of leaders to offer their perspectives on how their investment strategies align with Church values.”
