D CEO 11th Annual Mergers & Acquisitions Awards Event Highlights and Winners
D CEO recently hosted its 11th annual Mergers & Acquisitions Awards event at On the Levee, where the most impactful acquisitions, mergers, and financial transactions in North Texas were recognized. The event, presented in partnership with the Association for Corporate Growth-DFW, celebrated the dealmakers who made these transactions happen.
Among the judges were industry experts like Brooke Ansel of Prudential Private Capital, Daniel Boarder of Whitley Penn, and Jay Desai of Kainos Capital Partners. The event also saw the presentation of the first M&A Legacy Award to Tony Banks of RSM US, a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in private equity and M&A.
The event highlighted winners in various categories, including Attorney, Debt Provider, Due Diligence, Investment Banker, Emerging Leader, and Private Equity Managed Fund. Notable winners included Robert Little of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher for Attorney, Courtney Lewis of Cadence Bank for Debt Provider, and Jon Mueller of Exit Partners for Investment Banker.
The Deals category recognized transactions in different value ranges, with winners like Avantax’s take-private sale to Cetera in the $1 Billion + category, Park Cities Asset Management’s acquisition of Elevate Credit in the $250–$999 Million category, GXO Logistics’ acquisition of PFSweb in the $50–$249 Million category, and MB2 Dental’s national network expansion in the Under $50 Million category.
