Fieldbook Venture Studio Launches to Revolutionize Entrepreneurial Landscape in Arkansas and Beyond
Fieldbook, a $10M venture studio, is set to revolutionize the entrepreneurial landscape in Arkansas and beyond. Operated by High Alpha Innovation, Fieldbook plans to launch five new startups over the next three years, aiming to support job creation and boost the regional economy.
VentureWell, a nonprofit with a long history of promoting innovation nationwide, has received a $5.75 million grant from the Walton Family Foundation to establish Fieldbook in Arkansas. This grant will be matched by an investment from the State Small Business Credit Initiative, showcasing a bold investment in the state’s growth.
“The launch of Fieldbook Studio represents a transformative step for the entrepreneurial landscape in Arkansas,” said Phil Weilerstein, President and CEO of VentureWell. This venture studio will focus on leveraging Arkansas’s potential within the retail value chain, a sector that employs 80% of the global workforce.
Fieldbook’s goal is to operate a new company creation model designed to identify and validate new venture opportunities, incubate startup concepts, and prepare founders to successfully fundraise from private investors. The core Cartwheel Studio team has joined High Alpha Innovation to support the portfolio of startups to be created by Fieldbook.
“The state of Arkansas has done a great deal to support a growing entrepreneurial ecosystem, and its support of Fieldbook furthers that commitment,” said High Alpha Innovation CEO Elliott Parker. Together, through Fieldbook, they aim to bring a new wave of advantaged startups to life, creating new jobs and opportunities in the state.
With a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, Fieldbook is poised to make a significant impact on the Arkansas business landscape. Stay tuned for updates on the exciting developments coming out of this groundbreaking venture studio.
